Ralph were asked to come up with a viral campaign for the latest instalment of the popular Saw movie franchise. Our resulting idea has gone down a storm, and 'saw' ('scuse the pun) us using the original puppet from the movies, filming in dark dingy basements and working with horrible torture traps.
Users can connect via Facebook and upload images of themselves, before choosing which of their friends they would like to compete against. They are then presented with a first person introduction by non other than Jigsaw himself as he outlines the rules of his game to you and your friends. The user has to complete a rather tricky task in order to win the game and their freedom, but as anyone who has watched a Saw film will know, victory always comes at a cost...
We also worked with Lionsgate on the Kick Ass film, for which we created a great app allowing users to edit their Facebook pictures and create their own superhero. The finished heroes were saved to a gallery and the general public were able to vote on their favourites. It is worth a look, if not for the comedy names some people have used!
